Metro Division Toastmasters comprises seven Areas, each Area has 4-6 clubs, with a total of 39 clubs stretching at its southern point the Brisbane CBD, east out to the airport, north to Narangba and the Redcliffe peninsula and west to Ferny Grove and Samford.
Being a metropolitan area means that our clubs are a diverse and splendid mix of community based clubs and business /corporate clubs.
Community clubs are open to anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in developing their communication and leadership skills. Club meeting times and days vary. Most community clubs meet on a week night but some find a morning meeting suits their members. Business and corporate clubs on the other hand have a strong business focus and may have a restricted membership to a profession or corporation. But whether it is a community club or corporate/business club – every Toastmaster club in Metro Division has the same focus. To provide communication development and leadership opportunities for its membership who are mentored in a supported training environment. Members learn through participating in Toastmaster meetings and progression is self paced and fun. You can advance as fast or timely as you wish…its up to you. But you will learn so much more than communication and leadership skills. You will be a part of a world wide group of adult learners of all ability levels ranging from beginners to world champions all learning with and through each other.
